About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Fleet Workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake service, maintenance, and repair activities on motor vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve high-quality results
  • Adhere to the Trust's and manufacturer's scheduled times and standards
  • Record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components used
Requirements
  • HND in Mechanical/Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Recognised Motor Vehicle Indentured Apprenticeship or training scheme
  • Motor Vehicle Craft Studies Parts 1, 2 & 3 or Motor Vehicle Technicians Parts 1, 2 & 3 or BTEC equivalent
  • Current clean driving license
