Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This will include:

  • Tender Analysis and Reporting: Analyze tenders and prepare reports to inform project decisions.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Cost Reporting: Prepare regular cost reports to track project expenditure.
  • Contractor Variations: Assess and approve contractor variations to ensure they are in line with project requirements.
  • Final Account Negotiations: Negotiate final accounts with contractors to ensure accurate payment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Qualifications: Relevant Quantity Surveying degree and/or certification.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Software: Proficient in cost planning and contract administration software.
