Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Clee Hill Plant Ltd, providing maternity cover for up to 12 months. Based in Chesterfield, you will work on a part-time basis (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm) and report to the Credit Control Supervisor at our Head Office.

The successful candidate must have good administrative and communication skills, with previous experience within a Finance function. They will be responsible for providing an efficient, accurate, and timely debt recovery service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Posting cash received onto the computer system
  • Updating the Credit Control Diary
  • Processing credit applications, including checking insurance details and chasing debts
  • Liaising with internal customers to ensure all paperwork/queries are submitted and dealt with promptly
  • Responding to queries from external customers

We offer a competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 per annum) dependent on qualifications and experience, as well as other benefits such as employer contributory pension, life assurance, and free car parking.
