Retail Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to support our Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of our retail store. As Retail Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Shop Manager in implementing visual merchandising plans and maintaining a visually appealing store environment;
- Developing and executing strategies to increase donations and sales revenue;
- Managing stock deliveries, collections, and record-keeping processes;
- Maintaining accurate cash handling procedures and ensuring compliance with financial policies;
- Recruiting, training, motivating, managing, and supporting a loyal and committed team of volunteers;

We offer a competitive salary of £23,400 per annum (pro rata) or £12.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of this role. The position is part-time, working 16 hours a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday cover required. Our benefits package includes:
- Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays), rising to 40 days after five years;
- Up to 8% employer pension contributions;
