**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled HGV Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team at Serco Limited in Derbyshire. As an apprentice, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our commercial fleet vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support with performing maintenance inspections and repairs on all vehicles presented with guidance.
  • Keep the workshop clean and to standard while highlighting to contract management staff all vehicle defects, identifying faults and repairing as needed.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc duties while providing high standards of courteous interaction with all individuals.

**Requirements:**

  • GCSE's grades A* to C (or 9 to 4 in the new grading system) in Maths and English or the acceptable equivalent.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines whilst achieving a high level of accuracy.
  • Confident and motivated to learn to repair and maintain HGV vehicles with an eye for attention to detail and a basic understanding of procedures.
