Product Safety Programme Lead

We are looking for a Product Safety Programme Lead to join our team at BAE Systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects, such as the Canadian River Class Destroyer programme, and contribute to the development of safety arguments for major subsystems or key complex technologies.
The successful candidate will have experience leading hazard identification meetings and a strong understanding of product safety management processes and techniques. They will also be familiar with report writing and developing safety arguments, and hold a Chartered Engineer certification or equivalent professional registration.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the management of hazards, risks, and associated mitigations, and contribute to the development of the hazard log and maturity of information contained within. You will also work closely with the Product Safety Manager to ensure that all safety requirements are met.
The salary for this position is up to £60,100 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
