Rapid Response Carer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Rapid Response Carer. This role requires travel up to 100 miles from your home postcode, with mileage paid at a rate of 0.32p per mile.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a high level of strength in character, extensive hands-on experience in supporting diverse service users, and the ability to work under own initiative.

  • You will be part of a dynamic team covering days and nights, across 7 days, working on a rolling rota with every second weekend off.
  • Shifts can be pre-booked or arranged last minute, requiring you to attend any given site as required, as quickly as possible.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the care sector, preferably with a focus on palliative and complex care.
  • A full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
  • You must be a confident driver, able to attend shifts promptly, at short notice on the days/nights you are scheduled on call.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The salary for this role is £16.50 per hour.
  • Guaranteed retainer of 32 hours per week, paid regardless of work carried out.

Working Hours and Schedule
  • No less than 32 hours per week.
  • 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday, night shift, weekend availability.
