Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team at the Royal Free Hospital. As a key member of our MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to work at a specialized level of practice in the treatment of MSK conditions, with a focus on hand therapy and orthopaedics. You will be supported by a team of experienced physiotherapists and have the opportunity to work closely with advanced physiotherapy practitioners, orthopaedic and rheumatology teams, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with MSK conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in physiotherapy and registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Comprehensive post-registration experience in musculoskeletal services
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
