PRS is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and extra works/emergencies in accordance with contract requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical Services and associated systems.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, particularly in reporting plant problems/failures that may impact on the client\'s business.

The candidate will ensure that all plant and BMS checks are completed on time, and all problems found are recorded and communicated to the Shift Leader.

The role requires a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and good site husbandry.

The successful candidate will respond in a prompt and effective manner to all Helpdesk related reactive maintenance issues, associated with the mechanical infrastructure and the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work, and associated mechanical systems or as directed.

Repairs of electrical and mechanical systems, controls, and associated systems are also a key responsibility of this role.

Key attributes for this role include planning and organising, achieving and doing, building relationships, delivery through people, business awareness, customer focus, contributing to continuous improvement, and dealing with change.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of BMS monitoring and alert escalation, ability to stay calm in a pressured situation, high levels of concentration, and very good verbal communication skills.

Good numeracy skills and general IT skills are also essential for this role.

The candidate must have previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer, experienced on Industrial, Commercial & Domestic manufacturers systems, carrying out PPM\'s in line with SFG20 or equivalent with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.

18th Edition IEE Regulations and experienced in the Electrical aspects of general building Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are also required.

Competent working knowledge of Air Handling Units, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment UPS, and Emergency Generators is essential for this role.

Ideally, all candidates should have undertaken an electrical apprenticeship.

IOSH Working/Managing Safely (Desirable), Safe system of Work Procedure - PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable), L8 Training (Desirable), and Thorough working knowledge of one functional area through significant job experience & training are also desirable.

Experience of supporting a business contract and/or providing support to a professional function is also required.

Likely to have 5 years business experience and/or be a fully qualified Electrical Engineer.

Significant M&E Operations Management experience within a business critical client environment is also essential for this role.

HV & LV Authorised Person and requirement to complete the critical environment training, and to carry out scenario training as per schedule, guide and training shift team on SOPs/EOPs etc are also required.

Familiar fuelling procedures and experience with HV generation and control systems are also desirable.

Experience with working within a critical and secure environment is also essential for this role.
