About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Pump Service Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel pumps used in sprinkler systems, travelling across the UK in a company-provided van.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel pump issues, utilizing strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Work closely with clients across the UK, visiting various sites ranging from residential dwellings to industrial distribution centers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with diesel engines, with a mechanical engineering background or similar.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary, with a range of £40,000 - £50,000.
  • A 50-hour week, working Monday - Friday.
  • A company-provided van for travel.
  • 21 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
