S/4HANA Logistics and Warehouse Transformation Project Lead

As part of Lonza's ongoing pursuit of excellence, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our S/4HANA logistics and warehouse transformation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring global business requirements are translated into standardized concepts for the workstream.

The role is accountable for all deliverables of this stream including their formal approval, from design to implementation. As an experienced logistics and warehousing professional, the job holder coordinates the project with all relevant key stakeholders and leads a team of functional experts.

The ideal candidate should have significant experience in warehousing and logistics, within a manufacturing/production company, and strong experience in Project Management (ideally with S/4HANA experience). A track record of successful collaboration on projects leading to positive business outcomes is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed plan outlining the tasks, milestones, and deliverables of this stream
  • Coordinate with the S/4 project management in terms of timeline and milestones
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure team adheres to deadlines
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders regularly
  • Identify and assess risks associated with the stream and develop mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions related to decision-making in this stream

Requirements:

  • $120,000 - $150,000 per year
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
