About The Royal Oak
We're a charming Inn looking for a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our property is well-maintained and presented to a high standard.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in maintaining all areas of our property to a very high standard
- Plan and deliver a program of maintenance and improvements to enhance our facilities
- Assist with minor plumbing, grounds maintenance, DIY tasks, decorating, and other maintenance-related duties
- Manage our linen store and stock
- During quieter periods, support our housekeeping team with room changeovers and general cleaning
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual with a passion for maintenance and repair. You'll need to be flexible and able to work around our guests to ensure they have a fantastic experience.
Prior experience is advantageous, but we're open to hearing from individuals with a genuine interest in maintenance and a flair for making our Inn look great.
This is a full-time permanent role, requiring flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including some weekends and bank holidays. We're happy to discuss your needs and can consider job share or part-time arrangements.
