Financial Accountant Position Overview

BDM Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial documents, including monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and Self-Assessment tax returns.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our client's finance operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Compiling Self-Assessment tax returns and Limited Company Tax Returns
  • Reconciling commission statements and invoices
  • Administering long lease properties, including account preparation and maintenance invoice issuance
  • Analyzing expenses and receipts, and generating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Providing treasurer services to local charities
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A qualified or part-qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA certification
  • Experience in dealing with Personal Tax
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
