Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Carvela, Metro Gateshead. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for driving sales, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and stock control
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion
Requirements
  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in a luxury or fashion-forward environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase store performance
  • Impeccable presentation and attention to detail, reflecting the luxury brand image
