Job Description:
As a Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, profit/loss statements, and balance sheets
- Presenting monthly management accounts to directors
- Preparation of annual accounts to submit to accountants
- Reconciling bank accounts, credit card statements, completing quarterly VAT returns
- Analysing the company's financial performance (budgets to actual)
- Reviewing finance processes and controls, ensuring consistent documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant with the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience as a Management Accountant or Financial Controller
- AAT qualification is essential, CIMA/ACCA would be advantageous
- Experience with Sage 50 accounts software
- VAT and PAYE experience is essential, CIS/Intrastat would be beneficial
- Great knowledge of Excel with excellent bookkeeping skills
- A positive, proactive, trustworthy person with a high attention to detail and ambition
Benefits:
