About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at Get Golfing CIO, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting struggling English golf facilities and preventing club closures. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained across our venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Produce menus that respond to a recipe brief, align with our guiding principles, and meet our commercial expectations.
  • Allergen Management: Ensure the delivery and daily updating/monitoring of the allergen management process, and maintain accountability for its implementation.
  • Health and Safety: Report near misses and accidents to ensure the achievement of Health and Safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Group Catering Manager to document and fully cost and document all recipes and ingredients, and deliver the business strategic objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Club House teams, Sales, and Marketing to achieve our shared vision in a consistent manner across all sites.
Requirements
  • Culinary Expertise: Possess a strong background in menu development, with a proven track record of delivering financial forecasts.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and competently under pressure, with a natural coaching style and a proven background in developing others.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong influencing skills across various levels, with the ability to communicate at all levels and partner with multiple stakeholders to deliver business goals.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain and uphold best practice for food safety, cleanliness, allergen-awareness, and health and safety in the workplace.
