We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Glassmoon Services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of colleagues to provide exceptional quality service to the People We Support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver care that reflects best practices, legislative requirements, and our policies, procedures, and agreed standards to support Glassmoon Services' purpose.
  • Actively engage with and support individuals to learn, maintain skills, pursue personal interests, and provide unique person-centered care that is tailored to each individual, in alignment with our person-led support delivery model.
  • Play a vital role in updating and maintaining support plans to the required standard, while providing support and guidance to colleagues in completing their own.
  • Act as the primary source of information from your team regarding any changes in the needs of the People We Support, promptly reporting these to the Registered Manager and Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Collaborate closely with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximize opportunities for the People We Support.
  • Exemplify leadership qualities by being a role model who inspires and supports all colleagues.
  • Effectively supervise their team, ensuring that required standards are met in accordance with best practices, agreed policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure that all team members receive regular one-on-one meetings, annual reviews, and additional support through the SPG&P (Supporting Personal Growth and Potential) processes.
  • Support and supervise colleagues to ensure that they fulfill their responsibilities to meet the needs of the People We Support.
