Dietitian for Specialist Surgical Medical Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. As a Specialist Surgical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing a specialist dietetic input into the surgical wards, working closely with your Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) colleagues, including consultants, surgeons, and specialist nurses.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Dietitian with a passion for surgical and medical dietetics, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. You will be based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where you will be part of a team of over 25 dedicated and welcoming Dietitians working in a range of specialist areas.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and advising patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will also support the training of dietetic students and peers with specialist knowledge. Additionally, you will be involved in implementing our Quality Improvement programme to drive service development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Diploma/Degree in Dietetics, current HCPC registration, and experience as a practicing dietitian in acute surgery. You will also need to be able to work autonomously, prioritize your workload, and demonstrate excellent presentation skills both written and verbal with individuals and groups.
