About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Linguistics Graduate to join our team at a top primary school in Harrow. As a Linguistics Graduate Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with EAL and Speech, Language and Communication Needs.

Your key responsibilities will include monitoring students' progress throughout the academic year, providing support in small group interventions and 1:1 sessions, and working alongside the SEND team to ensure adequate support is provided to each student.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have graduated with a minimum 2:1 in Linguistics or a related subject at a Top 20 UK University. Experience supporting children with SEND will be advantageous, and you will be looking to gain beneficial experience to apply for MSc Speech and Language Therapy.

You will be passionate and committed to supporting and improving children with speech and language impediments, and be willing to complete all necessary training to support students. You will have the opportunity to develop and prepare visual materials for Speech Therapy and classroom sessions, and work under the supervision of the school SENCo and Speech and Language Therapist.
