About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Cranes and Lifting department on a permanent basis. As a key member of our flying squad, you will operate ad-hoc trips offshore from Aberdeen, working on a retainer salary plus company benefits and day rates for any trips you commence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance repairs to offshore cranes, ensuring they are safe and operational.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs in accordance with safe systems of work, adhering to industry standards.
  • Identify and source tools and materials to complete job scopes, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Complete effective handover and completion certificates as required, documenting work completed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will hold an NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Certificate or a recognised apprenticeship. Previous Mechanical experience is essential, with a preference for candidates with experience working with cranes on or offshore.
