Welding Expert

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Production Welder to join our team at Commercial Steel Erection, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal parts with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality results.

About the Role:

• This is a full-time position that requires 2+ years of experience in welding and holds a valid Driver's License.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSHA, AISC & AWS Standards and possess excellent communication skills.
• You will work closely with our experienced Foreman to complete tasks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
• Perform various welding duties, including FCAW, SMAW, and other processes.
• Assist with inspecting and identifying hazards associated with all welding.
• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench floor or clamp parts together along with layout.

Requirements:

• Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and location.
• Welding Certification.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
