MET Technician and Strip Fitter Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join our busy accident repair centre in Ipswich. As a member of our team, your main goal will be to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs that meet the industry's strictest standards.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • You will be involved in removing and refitting vehicle components to achieve perfect repairs.
  • Our team relies on you to dismantle and rebuild vehicles in accordance with our guidelines, showcasing your technical expertise.
  • Any unseen damage found during the process must be reported promptly, enabling us to rectify any issues.
  • In addition to individual work, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
Compensation Package:
  • This attractive opportunity comes with a salary range of up to £20 per hour, including a performance-based bonus.
  • Overtime payments are made at one and a half times your regular hourly wage.
  • We also provide comprehensive private health insurance.
  • A robust training and development plan is in place to support your career progression.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • A relevant qualification, such as city & guilds or NVQ level, is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Former experience as an MET Technician would be valuable.
  • An ATA certification may be beneficial but is not obligatory.
