Accounting Apprentice Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Apprentice. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing accountancy and business support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post-trial balances onto accounts software
  • Analyse bank statements into cash books in Excel and post onto accounts software
  • Complete accounts file working papers in Excel
  • Apply accounting principles
  • Identify client queries
  • Post any accounting journals and disclosure data into accounts software
  • Prepare corporation tax computation
  • Prepare accounts file for accounts meeting
  • Complete a file for signing pack
  • Bookkeeping in accountancy software
  • Preparation of Payroll reports
  • Ad hoc administrative duties as needed by the office
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, CIS, Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns to HMRC
Training and Development:
  • AAT Level 3 Accounting qualification
  • All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
  • Functional skills in English & Mathematics, if required
