Child Psychotherapist Specialist

The Portman Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Child Psychotherapist to join our team. As a specialist in the field of child psychotherapy, you will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and their carers. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us develop a body of knowledge on criminality, sexual deviancy, and violence.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialized assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and their carers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Offer teaching and consultation to practitioners within and outside the Trust.
- Disseminate knowledge and expertise to professionals within the field.
- Contribute to research and publication.
We are looking for a candidate with a doctoral-level qualification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy or psychoanalysis, and eligibility for membership of the ACP. You will have a highly developed ability to communicate complex information to family members, students, and professionals. Experience of working in a multidisciplinary context and providing supervision, teaching, and consultation is essential.
