About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the operation team, analyzing the performance of rotating equipment, and implementing best-in-class solutions to improve equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the operation team during the entire lifecycle of the rotating equipment.
  • Troubleshoot rotating equipment failures and performance issues.
  • Utilize knowledge and familiarity with international standards to improve equipment performance.
  • Implement best-in-class solutions pertaining to rotating equipment as foreseen by international standards and internal company standards.
  • Lead efficiency improvement initiatives, upgrading programs, and projects in the field of rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical solutions to address machine failures, utilizing sound maintenance strategies to analyze, address, and rectify root causes to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Propose changes in operating modes or technological improvements or maintenance strategies implementation to support the company's vision of continuous improvement through collaboration and people conversation.
Requirements
  • This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of total NGL/LPG process units experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years of experience in handling gas processing and NGL Fractionation is required.
  • Exposure to different licensed technologies for gas processing and NGL Fractionation is a plus, as well as familiarity with Honeywell UOP and Shell licensed units is preferred.
  • Certified PHA/HAZOP leader.
  • Ability to carry out process simulation using Aspen software package.
