About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our Rail and Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various arboriculture projects across the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Contract Manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage fluctuating workloads, providing guidance and support to field-based teams to enhance cohesion and productivity.
  • Skilfully price work and execute projects, delivering results that exceed expectations, while leading the thorough scoping of sites and assessing project requirements and constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive task briefs to provide clear direction and alignment with project objectives, engaging with clients to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage working hours to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel on-site, strategically planning possessions to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee the seamless execution of projects, promptly addressing any issues that arise to ensure project continuity and quality.

Requirements

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in arboriculture or vegetation management, as well as some but not necessarily all, of the following:

  • Personal Track Safety qualification
  • Individual Working Alone qualification
  • Controller of Site Safety qualification
  • Experience of working safely within guidance and legislation
  • Experience of leading teams and or coordinating the work of others
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively
  • Be IT competent
  • Ability to prioritize workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met
