Job Summary

Rydon is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Sidcup. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality maintenance service to our healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, with a focus on plumbing and general building repairs.
  • Work in a mobile role, maintaining multiple healthcare sites in North Kent.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of satisfaction from our clients.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs, receiving a standby allowance and overtime pay.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, ideally within the NHS or a maintenance contractor providing services to the NHS.
  • Ability to undertake a wide range of plumbing repairs and other general building skills, such as carpentry and plastering.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing high-quality repairs.
  • A full UK driving license and a DBS check.
