Job Summary:

Aqumen Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a dynamic team in the fruit ripening and processing sector. As a key player, you will provide critical support and technical prowess in a field-based capacity, working with heavy commercial refrigeration equipment and plant, chilled water systems, and a small amount of air-conditioning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service calls and support the Service Manager with technical issues
  • Suggest system improvements to clients and provide technical support to apprentices
  • Conduct site audits and deliver toolbox talks to uphold stringent health, safety, and quality regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and talent for technical problem-solving
  • Experience working with heavy commercial refrigeration equipment and plant
