Job Title: Specialist Hand Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Hand Therapist to join our team at the Hospital of St Johns and St Elizabeth. As a Specialist Hand Therapist, you will be responsible for performing advanced clinical assessments and providing expert treatment to patients with hand-related injuries and conditions.

As a Specialist Hand Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with hand-related injuries and conditions
  • Provide expert treatment and care to patients, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education on hand health and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of hand therapy programs and services

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in hand therapy or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hand therapy or a related field
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in performing advanced clinical assessments and providing expert treatment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
