About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team at Thera Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with a learning disability to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and emotional support to individuals with a learning disability
  • Help individuals develop new skills and achieve their personal goals
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as planning and managing their own home
  • Assist individuals with leisure, employment, and individual interests
  • Support individuals in their own home or out and about in their community

Requirements
  • No previous experience or qualifications required as full training will be provided
  • Must be comfortable with lone working and supporting individuals with Mental Health Needs
  • Compassionate, Caring and Confident
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, with a high level of motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
  • Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
  • Desire to embrace our values and vision and have fun
