Job Introduction

Turning Point is a leading health and social care charity organisation with a rich history of delivering high-quality services. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team at one of our residential care homes in North Watford.

The home provides 24-hour support for six individuals with profound learning disabilities, and we are looking for someone who can inspire and drive excellent support within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals, including aspects of personal care
  • Manage tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the home
  • Develop and maintain standards of care and support
  • Communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including individuals, families, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to achieve business targets
Requirements
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver high-quality services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work towards NVQ level 4/5 qualification
