About the Role
The successful applicant will have proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or a similar role within the woodworking industry. A minimum of 3 years' experience of Bench Joinery is essential, as well as an appreciation of high-end bespoke furniture. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications is also required.

Key Responsibilities
As a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner, your key responsibilities will include:
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
• Operating a variety of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools to shape, cut, and assemble wooden components
• Accurately measuring, marking, and cutting wood pieces to ensure precise fitting and alignment
• Shaping wooden surfaces using techniques such as planing and sanding
• Assembling wooden components using joinery techniques such as tenon, dovetail, and biscuit joints
• Installing hardware, fittings, and finishes to complete the final product
• Inspecting finished products for quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs

This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum (circa £14 per hour) and includes various benefits, including:

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Excellent communication skills, be approachable, and enthusiastic
• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or a similar role within the woodworking industry
• A minimum of 3 years' experience of Bench Joinery - essential
• An appreciation of high-end bespoke furniture - essential
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent knowledge of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools
• Ability to accurately measure, mark, and cut wood pieces for precise fitting
• Strong joinery skills and familiarity with various joinery techniques
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality artisanship
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Highly organized with effective time management and prioritization skills
• Prior experience in bespoke furniture joinery
• The ability to install furniture in clients' homes would be an advantage
• Ability to work to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Willingness to uphold the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with clients, team members, and third parties.
