Automotive Technician

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at Clear Automotive. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles, ensuring that stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles
- Ensure stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner
- Dismantling vehicles ready for panel area
- Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic work
- Ordering replacement parts
- Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
- Stripping and fitting components, bodywork and trim elements
- All MET duties required within your remit
- Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Fault finding/diagnostics
- Ensure all jobs are completed within estimated times
- ATA, NVQ 3 or IMI 3 qualifications
- Experience in accident repair and panel work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
