Job Title: Multifaceted Engineer

At The Compleat Food Group, we're committed to creating high-quality food products that meet the needs of our customers. As a Multifaceted Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a focus on preventative and reactive maintenance. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to breakdown repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Record all work details using our CMMS system
  • Carry out repairs to the plant and infrastructure using procedural controls and GMP procedures
  • Support colleagues in adopting correct operating procedures
  • Ensure H&S is not compromised and all procedures are followed
  • Contribute to the development of new working methods and participate in continuous improvement
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have industry-relevant qualifications or be an apprentice-trained multiskilled engineer with a strong electrical bias. Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment would be beneficial. You'll need to be a methodical and logical thinker with excellent fault-finding skills, working knowledge of AC/DC motors and controls, and a good understanding of servo-controlled equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
