An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to join our Construction team as a Partner, based in either the South West or London.

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to develop clients and work within the department, with a focus on building and growing the business while maintaining exceptional client service. The successful candidate will support the Head of Construction and the wider Real Estate team in achieving the Business Plan.

The role will involve:

  • Effective delivery of work on own files, delegating tasks efficiently, and ensuring matters are profitable, while supervising junior fee earners in file management and time recording.
  • Acting as the senior lawyer on complex matters, with a recognized expertise in the discipline/sector.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and referrers by exceeding service expectations and supporting partners in managing and developing key clients.
  • Managing a client review process and introducing changes based on feedback.
  • Expanding the area of business by broadening expertise into new client sectors/markets or achieving greater market share.
  • Leading on the generation of thought leadership based on changes in the law, market trends, or other relevant material to attract new opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing and supervising work in the team to achieve all financial and non-financial KPIs, using management information to understand performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years PQE working for a leading national or regional firm.
  • Experience in all aspects of non-contentious construction matters.
  • Ability to grow the team and a business development mindset.
