Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Sartorius. As a key member of our Quality and EHS department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management: Oversee internal and external customer audits, batch review and release, annual product quality review, vendor evaluation and approval, and ensure compliance to robust processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of 4, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement new practices and processes to meet the needs of GMP compliance and effectiveness of the QMS.
- Training and Development: Provide training and develop skills and competencies of the QA team.
- Education: Min. degree level in Life Sciences, Chemical Science or related field.
- Experience: Significant experience in Quality Assurance within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with detailed knowledge of cGMP and quality management systems ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership Skills: Experience of leading or supervising a small team and the ability to inspire, motivate and lead the team by example.
- Communication Skills: The ability to convey information clearly and effectively both in speaking and writing, articulating goals and facilitate open discussions.
