Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operative to join our team at Heidelberg Materials UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our asphalt plant, ensuring that we meet our quality standards and deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the asphalt plant, ensuring that it is running at optimal levels and producing high-quality materials.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer requirements and plant capacity.
- Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of the plant to identify and address any issues or defects.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks as required, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Operate mobile plant machinery, including Front-End Loaders and dumpers, as directed by site management.
- Ensure the safe and proper operation of all equipment and machinery.
Requirements:
- Experience in plant operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and night shifts.
