Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Care Assistants and Team Leaders to join our friendly and dedicated team at Chandos Lodge Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will provide all aspects of personal care, assist residents to and from bed, complete hourly checks, and help residents participate in meaningful activities. As a Team Leader, you will supervise Care Assistants, administer medication, maintain a safe and caring environment, and provide personal care.


Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents to and from bed, and complete hourly checks
  • Help residents participate in meaningful activities, such as hobbies and social events
  • As a Team Leader, supervise Care Assistants, administer medication, and maintain a safe and caring environment
  • Provide personal care to residents, including assisting with meal times and encouraging participation in stimulating activities


Requirements

  • Health and Social Care Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) for Care Assistants
  • Health and Social Care Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) and Meds Training for Team Leaders
  • Compassion, care, and commitment to delivering exceptional care and support
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • A caring and friendly nature, with a desire to progress your career in a rewarding field
