Support Worker - Children and Young Persons Role

Swyft Recruitment is excited to be hiring for experienced Residential Children's Support Workers to join our client's service based in Kent.

This Residential Children's home, specialising in the care and support for young people, promotes independence and protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and young people ages 8-18 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
  • Provide support and care to promote independence and protection
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, interpreting their needs and concerns
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualised care plans

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 in Residential / Childcare NVQ
  • Experience of working with children and young people with EBD
  • Strong knowledge around Ofsted regulations
  • Fully qualified and experienced candidates will be considered

About the Role:

This is a Residential Children's home providing care and support for young people aged 8-18 years with EBD. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to promote independence and protection.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
