About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the operations of a well-established industrial company in the Stafford area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient production and high standards of health and safety.
  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage the financial performance of the plant, including budget planning and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained in safe working practices and proper use of equipment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a plant or similar industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Technical expertise in managing fixed and mobile plant.
  • Ability to manage financial performance and understand strategic business operations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Desirable qualifications include a Level 6 SHE / QCF Level 5 in Health, Safety and Environmental Management, or equivalent.
