Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of liquid sludge within the South West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collection and delivery of liquid sludge to various locations
  • Planning routes on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient delivery
  • Regular communication with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone to provide excellent customer service
  • Attending regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills
Requirements
  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience working with vacuum tankers and waste water is advantageous, but full training will be provided
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the local area
