Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital

We're seeking a highly motivated and talented Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you'll play a key role in delivering quality pathology services and taking a share of covering an on-call service out of hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting
  • Quality control and maintaining records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables
  • Validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Relevant laboratory experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion biomedical science
  • Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques
