Speech and Language Therapist for Mainstream Schools

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team working in mainstream schools with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other speech and language difficulties.

About the Role
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on communication strategies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
  • Licence to Practise from the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists.
  • 2+ years of experience working with children with ASD and/or speech and language difficulties.
Salary and Benefits

The salary is £43,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a car lease scheme, flexible working options, and opportunities for professional development.

This is a Band 5 position within the NHS, providing a high-quality service to children with a range of special educational needs.
