**Job Description:** Senior Flavour Chemist

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Flavour Chemist to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. This is a permanent position with a family-run business, one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of E-Liquids.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development of new e-liquid flavours and concentrates, ensuring they meet quality control standards.
  • Manage flavour formulation projects, including procurement, development, and launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on flavour development goals and strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for flavour improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement flavour formulation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and restrictions.
  • Train and mentor junior flavour chemists to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of flavour formulations, including recipes and testing results.
  • Provide input on flavour development goals and strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry or Food Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental flavour chemistry and sensory perception.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and guide team members.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
