Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's well-established Engineering team in South Norwich.

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role that requires a strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of an onsite maintenance team, providing support to the production team in the event of a breakdown, as well as carrying out preventative maintenance, identifying engineering issues prior to them causing a failure, reducing the chance of possible downtimes and loss of productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and project work
  • Working on a variety of equipment such as conveyors, extruders, mixers, labellers, wrappers, automation controls, and PLCs
  • Project work including machine upgrades, installations, and continuous improvements
Requirements:

The ideal candidate would possess balanced knowledge and experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering. However, the client is open-minded and will consider candidates who are mechanically or electrically biased, provided they have recognised engineering qualifications.
