Materials Loan Kit Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Loan Kit Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team at London Bridge Hospital. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of all loan kits required for procedures within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check theatre bookings daily and liaise with theatres to ensure all loan kits required for surgery have been requested in time.
  • Raise purchase orders via Smart Procurement and ensure vendors are informed with relevant details for kit hire.
  • Accept delivery of loan equipment and record delivery information on arrival and departure.
  • Unpack and thoroughly check instrument sets and prosthesis against vendor delivery notes.
  • Investigate any missing instruments with the Central Distribution Unit (CDU) following the use of loan sets.

Requirements

  • Previous materials experience, ideally within a theatre environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
