Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at NHS National Services Scotland. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering clinically led, person-centred services to ensure patients across Scotland receive the best from their medicines and pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across surgical, women and children, medical, and ophthalmic services to provide expert pharmacy advice and support.
  • Develop and implement clinically led services to improve patient outcomes and experience.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and education to staff on pharmacy-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Completed or equivalent competence as mapped to the Post Registration Foundation Pharmacist Framework.
  • Independent prescriber qualification desirable, with training opportunities available for post-graduate study.
