Job Opportunity for Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Alexandra and Crestview Surgeries, a reputable GP practice with 15,300 patients, is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their team on a full-time basis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct health assessments, administer medication, and perform diagnostic tests to ensure patients receive high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans to meet patients' needs, promoting health and well-being.
  • Manage and treat long-term conditions, adhering to national and local policies.
  • Prioritize health issues and intervene effectively in urgent or emergency situations.
  • Support patients with sexual health and contraception needs, as well as cervical cytology consultations.
  • Lead asthma, COPD, and diabetes clinics and reviews.

Requirements
  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
  • Fundamentals of Practice Nursing course or equivalent experience/qualifications.
  • Competence in asthma, COPD, and diabetic clinics and reviews, with relevant certificates.
