About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Accounts Assistant to support our clients in the Bristol area.

The ideal candidate will have AAT Level 3/4 or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified and experience preparing company accounts using accounting software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preparing a portfolio of dormant accounts and ensuring completion to deadline
  2. Preparing and/or reviewing non-complex small company accounts and corporation tax returns
  3. Drafting more complex small company accounts to be passed for completion and review by a senior team member
  4. Basic dividend planning with assistance
  5. Drafting basic partnership and non-resident company tax returns for review prior to submission
  6. Using Xero for bookkeeping assistance and updating client records following accounts preparation
  7. Assisting with providing information to our UK and US tax teams on clients' corporate position

About You
  1. You will be AAT Level 3/4 or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified
  2. Experience preparing company accounts using accounting software
  3. Able to manage own workload and be a flexible team-player
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  6. A confident, positive, and professional approach
  7. Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages quickly
  8. Strong attention to detail

The following would be desirable but is not required:

  • Knowledge and experience of VAT
  • Knowledge of basic LLP Accounts
  • Experience of clients with international elements
  • Knowledge of Xero
Salary
