Audit Senior Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional audit and accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out accounting processes and controls to ensure accurate production of information and maintain appropriate audit trails.
  • Provide guidance and ensure adoption of appropriate accounting practices in the production of financial information.
  • Provide technical expertise to design technical solutions and prepare statutory financial statements for limited companies.
  • Prepare and file annual returns and PSC confirmation statement to Companies House.
  • Supervise and assist junior members of staff as needed.
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, depending on experience.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships through written communication and face-to-face meetings.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the business.
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification, or exceptional finalist.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Experience in delivering external audit and accounting services with exposure to a range of clients.
  • Ability to provide an outstanding and professional service to clients.
  • Experience with ProAudit, Sage Accounts Production Advanced, Sage Line 50, or Xero is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and use initiative.
  • Actively seeks to enhance expertise and knowledge.
  • Demonstrates drive and commitment to self-development.
  • Adaptable and sociable personality with ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
